Choosing an early education provider for your child is a very important decision. As a parent, you want to be sure that the learning centre you choose has the highest standards of care and will truly nurture your child’s development. Early years are a crucial time in brain development for babies and toddlers, so it’s important that they spend time in a supportive environment where they can learn about the world, about themselves and how to interact with others.

Our Family is Your Family

Hamersley Early Learning School was set up in 2003 by two sisters – Sam and Angela. As the centre has grown, so has our family as we welcome new children and families into our school community. Sam and Angela are both passionate educators who want children to develop in a secure home away from home.

We’ve Seen the Best and Worst

Our founders found the care options insufficient when their own children were growing up. Sam and Angela discovered that local early learning centres did not meet their expectations and decided to use their experience to set up a school of their own. Having first-hand experience of what does and doesn’t work for children means that our school leaders can construct a learning environment with the best possible chances of success.

We Know Your Child is Unique

We aim to tailor our programs to the individual needs, talents, abilities and interests of each unique student. Not all learning systems work for every child, and students come to us at very different stages of development so we don’t follow a one-size-fits-all model of early education.

Sam and Angela, along with all of our hand-picked educators, have a genuine love for children and their development. We will provide whatever support they need to gain the knowledge and skills for a happy and successful future.

Building Relationship

A key part of your child’s early education is learning how to build relationships with their peers and caregivers. This intrapersonal understanding helps them to develop self-awareness and self-confidence and learn how to handle different social situations. Our nurturing environment encourages children to learn how to sympathise and empathise with others, understanding how their actions can affect other people.
